I strongly dislike gloomy, rainy, cloudy summer days.  It puts me in a wardrobe panic - I don't want to be wet but is this sweater going to make me to hot, I don't want my feet to get wet, I don't want my legs to get wet but I don't want to wear pants that are too long, then they will get wet - see I'm a mess.

This is my perfect rainy day outfit. Now I just need to purchase those mint boots!

I had a bad case of the Monday's yesterday.  It started out as a perfectly fine Monday, but those are always the ones that get ya!

The Wind

As I was quietly sitting in the salon working on my new website - yay! - I noticed it looked awful nasty out. The wind was picking up, dark clouds were rolling in, and my computer was in my car. As I returned from retrieving my computer and beating the rain, I unfortunately did not beat the wind...

The wind blew the door right off the hinges! Seriously how did this happen! I'm pretty sure that door weighs about a ton so I propped it up and proceeded to call my dad, because he can fix anything, who was not able to come to the salon till 5 that evening. But I can say today I am not sitting here with the door propped open, thank heavens!

The Run

Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am not one for physical activity.  I am not a team sports person, I hate working out, and running is only for those being chased. Yet somehow I have ended up on a team for the Color Me Rad 5K in September!

I think it was all the color that lured me in. But now I am starting to realize that I have to run! We'll see how this goes and you will most definitely here more about my running!

Welcome to Hello Colie! Your front row seat to the girl behind Colie's Jewelry and Accessories. Don't know anything about Colie's? Well lets brief you on a few fun facts!

My given name is Ashley Nicole Phinazee. Colie was a nickname given to me by my Dad, and when deciding on the name for my boutique nothing seemed to fit quite as well as Colie's.  Having always wanted a career in fashion opening my own boutique seemed like the perfect option. But as any person in business knows, it isn't exactly that simple.  In 2008, my senior year at Southeastern University, I decided to begin my mission of helping girls everywhere sparkle.  My friends always loved the unique jewelry I found, so what better way to help girls sparkle than offer them fun, affordable jewelry? I hand pick each item that is sold at Colie's, and work hard to find the most unique and on trend items at fabulous price points.

So what can you expect from Hello Colie? A look into the life of Colie! Everything from my date night outfits to parties I throw to DIY projects to beauty and makeup!
