Christmas Treats - The Faithfuls

I am no professional baker but I take pride in the fact that come Christmas I have people waiting to receive one of my world renowned Christmas Baskets. I am currently putting together the list of this years treats. I love finding new goodies to make but there are a few yummies that are basket staples - like I might have a riot on my hands if these treats are not in the basket! Lucky for you I've decided to share them all here with links to the recipes :)

Lemon Wreaths - They are seriously delish. The cookie is thick and just a little sweet and the icing is lemon goodness!

Iced Oatmeal Applesauce Cookies - They are Chewy and sweet and just good!

Salted Caramel Butter Bars - Or as I like to call them, goodness in your mouth.  I made these for the first time last year. I had some in the baskets and more out for dessert and my friends and family were all coming to me saying the same thing "So are these in my basket and can I have more?"
They are perfect. The End.

Peanut Butter Cups - Rich, easy, everyone loves them, what could be better?

Chocolate Covered Everything - If you really need a recipe for this I've provided one, but I just use the Candiquik you can purchase at the supermarket. I then proceed to dip everything imaginable in chocolate - pretzels, marshmallows, candy canes, spoons for hot cocoa, anything!

Outrageous Chocolate Cookies - If you are baking for a chocolate lover you should def make these yummies! They are chocolate on top of chocolate and super easy!

Well there ya have it! My Christmas baking faithfuls! Do you have something you bake every year? Leave the recipe or a link to it in the comments! If I get more than 5 recipes from 5 different people I will randomly pick someone to give a FREE pair of earrings!

Happy Baking!

Gift Guide - The Manly Man

With Black Friday right around the corner and countless stores already having pre Black Friday sales, if you haven't started your Christmas shopping yet, well, get a move on it! Believe me you do not want to be that person fighting the crowds on Christmas Eve. You have been there, I have been there, it's a nightmare.

Over the next week or so I will be posting some of my favorite Holiday Gift Guides. Some from other blogs and shops, and maybe one or two of my own! But let's start with what I think is the most difficult stocking to stuff of them all - your Manly Man's Stocking. For me it's my boyfriend, for you it might be your dad, brother, uncle, best friend, son, any guy in your life really. So here are some creative things you can add to your man's stocking this Christmas, besides socks and underwear!

Lovely Little Snippets put together this list of 25 Manly Man stocking stuffers! Head on over and check it out!

The Life of Lulu Belle has a list of 50+ stocking stuffers for your man here, and another list of 100+ small gifts for your man here!  Plus she gives ideas for themed stockings! How cute is that?

Here is a list of  my 3 favorite items from the three above mentioned list, along with places to buy each item! I am going to be specific to things my boyfriend likes, so if your name is Ben and you happen to be my boyfriend don't read this! Maybe your man likes some of the same things, or hopefully it will help you branch out and think of things your man likes that you have never though about before!

1. Beer Koozie - I am getting a Mickey Koozie from Disney (they didn't have it online) but here is a link to a website with lots of funny koozies (including the one above) and oh so much more!

 2. Phone Accessories -
    A. Cell phone charger - The options here are endless. They have cordless ones for on the go, solar ones, DIY ones, and cool little chargers that hold your phone when you plug it into the wall so it's not just laying on the floor! Here is a link to all the Pinterest ideas when it comes to phone chargers!
    B. Cell phone case - My boyfriend is a Star Wars geek, so I am considering a few different phone cases. Some from Etsy here, and some others that can be purchased at Disney Parks. What does the man you are buying for like? Best bet is to come up with a few ideas and then Google and Etsy them with "phone case" tagged onto the end!

3. Novelty Ice Trays - My boyfriend likes guns. When he saw the bullet and I guess it's a pistol ice trays? Who knows, but when he saw those ice trays at Urban Outfitters he was acting like a little kid, thought they were the coolest things ever. Here is the gun one, but they might offer more in store?

Here are some websites that have funny and random gifts for guys!

When you read all this it makes you wonder why you've had such a time finding stocking stuffers for him before! Really you just need to think of the things he likes to do, movies he love, food he likes, hobbies and you are set! Hope this helps :)

Food and Wine Festival: Tips and Fashion

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival begins this Friday and I could not be more excited! Last year we went to Epcot not knowing the festival was going on and ended up racing from booth to booth trying to taste everything before the park closed!
Not this year though!

It's perfect weather in Florida right now, so throw on a breezy dress and crossbody bag with a bit of Disney sparkle and you're set for a day of tasting the world!

Food and Wine Festival

It can get a little tricky going from booth to booth buying yummy treats and drinks, and having to dig through your pockets or bag to find your credit card. To make it easy you can get a "Taste Your Way Around The World" Gift Card! This handy little wristlet is perfect for your day of traveling the world! I will definately be getting one of these little treasures first thing! Add it to my new Disney crossbody Dooney and Bourke and I'll be hands free to enjoy the treats all day!

Make sure you pick up your Marketplace Discovery Passport to! As you taste your way around the world have your passport stamped at each stop! You can pick one up at the Festival Welcome center and it's free!

To read about all the exciting things that will be happening at the Food and Wine Festival go here!
I can't wait to share all of my favorite dishes and treats from around the world with you!

Have a Sparkling and Magical Day
